“Ten songs that shaped the music they make”
Peter Richardson
Peter Richardson is a 23-year old singer/songwriter from Dublin. An avid songwriter since the age of 15, Peter grew up surrounded by music. After testing the waters with his original songs at a college open mic, Peter began properly recording his music at home in the summer of 2020. A few months later in October he released his debut single, “The End of The World”, an indie folk ballad filled with choral vocals and stirring, apocalyptic lyrics and instrumentation.
Foreign Mornings

Heavily inspired by big names from the late 80’s and 90’s such as Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Cure and Pixies, they combine loud guitars, crashing drums and catchy melodies into one package.
Peco
Peco is an Irish artist who's music is a blend of Folk, Americana and Indie-Rock. His songs combine strong melodies with insightful and imaginative lyrics. Peco has something to say but likes to do so with a hook or two.
Hailing from County Kildare in Ireland, Peco draws inspiration from the culture, the land and the people around him, both dark and light. He has a long and varied history in the music world, playing in bands since he was a teenager, crossing genres of Rock, Americana and Folk music.

Arborist
ARBORIST, aka Belfast native Mark McCambridge, announces details of his third album An Endless Sequence of Dead Zeros released 21 April 2023. Produced by Matthew E White at his Spacebomb Studios in Richmond, Virginia and bearing all the hallmarks of his sound and that of the Spacebomb Houseband, it sees ARBORIST merge a driven experimentation with a classicist approach to song structure and melody, with esoteric lyrical themes born out of the fugue of the last few years and evoking a dream-state. File under John Cale, with his skill of framing a beautiful melody in a song which pushes the limits of what a song can be. Other touchstones for the album include Bill Fay, Howe Gelb, Lee Hazelwood, Dylan’s Nashville Skyline, Wilco’s A Ghost Is Born and The Go-Betweens.
Claire Heffernan
Claire Heffernan is an Irish solo artist from Limerick, with diverse musical influences, embracing soulful contemporary piano-vocals and Celtic harp accompaniments.
She can equally be found songwriting, producing, recording, and performing. By her 20s she was studying music to Masters level, graduating first in her class, and it was around this time that she quickly became one of Ireland’s most sought-after soloists. She could be found entertaining thousands of visitors to Ireland each year with her harp and voice at the world-famous Bunratty Castle banquets and all along the Wild Atlantic Way, while also performing nationwide as ‘Ireland’s Best Wedding Musician’, a title held for 3 years consecutively. Her diverse musical pursuits and ensemble performances have also afforded her opportunities to perform in Germany, Amsterdam, Vienna, and Estonia, as well as on RTÉ lyric fm, RTÉ’s Today Show, and for National Geographic.
Drew Makes Noise
Belfast's Drew Makes Noise started as guitarist with indie/dance crossover act Ed Zealous who released their NI Music Prize nominated debut album “Wired” via Fierce Panda subsidiary Club Fandango in 2014.
Since disbandment, he’s been creating a vision in his home studio. Immersed in a world of synths, canned orchestras, guitar effects and late night psychedelic country walks, Drew’s been dreaming up a Psych-Pop-Prog-Rock world all of his own.
Cathal Francis
Cathal Francis is an indie folk singer-songwriter from the townland of Culmore on the Derry-Donegal border. With a vulnerable and intimate style of writing and playing, he has been likened to songwriters such as Elliott Smith, Paul Simon and Nick Drake.
Ferna
In 2017 Hannah McPhillimy, aka ferna, originally from Coleraine in Northern Ireland, moved to the US for two years to complete a Masters in Music Composition at the University of Michigan. This relocation inspired the sounds and sentiment for “New City”, the third release from her debut album, Understudy (out Spring 2023).
Exuberant synths, homemade drum kits (literally, made from a suitcase) and dispassionate vocals, this track visits both the euphoria of beginning again and the pain of having a reason to leave in the first place.
“Trying to hold onto a sense of who you are, while also shedding an old skin. It’s the tension between those things.” - ferna

Helen’s struggles with procrastination. Ironically, Helen Murray wrote Wrong Time about her difficulty with everyday distractions when it comes to writing and creating music
