Paulie Martin is a well-established local musician based in Mullingar. A familiar face to most and a recognisable voice and guitar player to the rest. His influences range across multiple genres but his roots are in Blues, Funk and Rock. Paulie started writing and playing with original bands and as a solo artist at the age of 15, headlining and supporting multiple gigs between the two. Highlights include Whelan's Ones To Watch, Midnight Sessions, and Electric Picnic. In 2018/19, Paulie also had three spectacular sold out gigs in the form of Paulie Martin & Friends which includes some of his bests friends and members of his covers/jam band, Tonic House Collective, at local Mullingar venues, Canton Casey's and The Stables at Smiddy's bar.

Since then, during the 'global hiatus', Paulie has been busy finishing 7 songs and counting, hitting the studio with his extremely talented 7 piece band and ready to burst with an eclectic, genre filled album full of soul, rock, funk and pop.

Currently releasing his song 'Cherokee Rose' on the 16th June 2022 which was recorded in Grouse Lodge with the help of the Arts Councils Local Live Performance Scheme in 2021.

SJ Talbot is a 24-year-old pop artist from Clontarf, in the capital city of Dublin, Ireland. Her songs feature deep, soulful vocals, intelligently paired with high-calibre pop production. At an early age, Talbot was enrolled in musical theatre school, and went onto study at BIMM Dublin, graduating in 2020. No stranger to the Irish music scene, she has worked as a session singer and keyboardist for various acts over the last four years. In 2017, she began producing her own music, and developing her individual sound. In September 2020, she released her well received indie-pop influenced debut single, “Envy”, followed up by her second solo single, ‘Easy for Me’, in 2021 which peaked at no.6 on the Irish Breakers Radio Chart. Zeinab, who is of Irish-Sudanese heritage, wrote the song in a very vulnerable and raw headspace, as she attempted to understand how she was feeling in response to the tragic events, and how she could move forward and potentially help others find a way forward too.

Co. Down artist CeeV (pronounced like 'leave') is releasing her new single 'Twenty Three'. CeeV, who's real name is Caoimhe McAleavey, is based in Newry but began her music career in Manchester studying songwriting at BIMM.

Zach James Douglas returns with his latest offering ‘You're Still Everything’ which features the budding and eminently talented vocalist, Lupupa, who hails from Milton Keynes.

Douglas, the Dublin native, has been rapidly growing a name for himself within the Irish scene and further afield with his genre bending style of alternative-electronic music. The rest of the track explains how when he leaves in search of the unknown he is happier, but still can't get his ex partner ‘Out of his head’.

On the May 21st, 2021 emerging pop songwriter and producer Leah Rose will independently release her debut single ‘Goodnight’. The single will be accompanied by a lyric video made by the artist herself.

The melancholic hue of ‘Goodnight’ arises from the sentimentality of a writer reflecting on a landscape they no longer exist in. The song was written and recorded in lockdown and is a prime example of how an artists’ time in isolation can result in the inevitable dissection of their past. Sonically, ‘Goodnight’ was inspired by artists such as Lorde, The Weeknd and Charli XCX.

Leah Rose is a Cork-born artist who has spent the last 5 years based in Dublin. She spent much of that time honing her craft, finding inspiration in lyricists such as Alex Turner and Lana Del Rey. Strong imagery and colour play a huge role in Leah’s songwriting. Growing up with artists for parents meant that Leah was exposed to a range of visual art forms at a young age. She strives to create art not only through music but through her artwork, photography and overall visual aesthetic.

“I see my songwriting style as atmospheric and somewhat abstract. I love being able to use music as a tool to materialise the things I see in my mind. So when I write a song I try to place the listener right in the centre of my memories and daydreams”.
